Maija Gundare is a film Make-up and Hair Designer, educator and beauty consultant based in Riga, Latvia. With more than 20 years of experience across film, television and commercial productions, she has worked on a wide range of international and Baltic projects.

She studied at Make-Up Designory (MUD) in Los Angeles and has since worked across film, advertising and creative productions, combining technical expertise with a strong eye for aesthetics and visual storytelling.

Alongside her work on set, Maija teaches beauty make-up, film make-up and make-up history.

With a strong interest in cosmetic products, she is particularly passionate about Asian beauty, skincare and makeup. She closely follows product innovation and emerging trends across the global beauty industry.
